Ann Kristin Skretteberg develops a practice at the intersection of image history and the physical experience of form. Educated at the University of Oslo (BA in Art History) and later in London at sculpture-focused institutions (Art Academy, WAES), she has built a language in which the body, textile, and object become units of narration, restrained gestures, materials that weigh, slip, or resist, and a sustained attention to the viewer’s presence before a silent scene.

Her professional trajectory extends this dual competence, both analytical and tactile. She has worked as a docent at the Singapore Art Museum and as an art consultant for Gallery Kunstverket in Norway, before settling in Lisbon, where she is associated with CreativeRez in Marvila. This international path informs a practice grounded equally in the act of looking, which contextualizes, and in the hand, which shapes.
