Inkline I
This artwork moves away from the body to focus on what it leaves behind: a trace. Against a light ground, black marks stretch out, intersect, sometimes contradict one another, as if the same gesture had been replayed several times at different rhythms. A denser core at the centre acts as a point of support: it holds the whole while letting the lines run toward the edges, between tension and dispersion. It feels like a kind of writing, not of a figure, but of an energy.
The acrylic shifts from broad, loaded passages to drier marks, almost scratched. You can read pressure, reworkings, pauses. The white is not just a background: it breathes, creates silences, and gives each black mark its weight. In the end, the work offers a direct abstraction, held by an unstable balance: rupture, return, suspension.

Inkline II
Inkline II unfolds as black marks across a light ground, like a structure in the process of forming. Broad strokes, sometimes dense, sometimes tapering, extend, intersect, and break off, creating a composition held together more by internal tensions than by defined outlines. The white is not an empty backdrop; it moves between the forms, separating and connecting them, bringing a palpable sense of air and light.
The painting reads as rhythm. Lines advance, slow down, collide, and resume, preserving traces of the gesture, drips, revisions, layers of transparency. One senses the time of execution, the pauses and returns. While it may recall gestural abstraction, the energy here feels more organic, less confrontational, as if the forms were growing rather than striking.
Branches, trunks, and bifurcations seem to emerge without settling into image. The eye moves across the surface, finding anchors and then drifting away. Between structure and flow, Inkline II offers a direct, vibrant abstraction charged with quiet intensity.

Inkline III
This artwork is built around a dense, vertical black axis that holds the composition like a pillar. Around it, curves and branching strokes of paint push out diagonally, intersect, then fold back, setting up a continuous tension. Your eye keeps moving between the centre, stable, almost heavy, and the more nervous peripheral lines that seem to search for their path.
The acrylic shifts between loaded, solid areas and drier passages, almost scratched. You sense changes of speed, different pressures, returns of the gesture, as if the surface retained the memory of movement. The white is not simply a background: it breathes, creates pauses, and cuts the black into unstable shapes.
In the end, the work holds through this balance: a spontaneous yet controlled writing, where accident isn’t corrected, only absorbed into the rhythm.
